Memorialización y marcación de lugares: el caso de la casa Mariani-Teruggi

Durante los últimos 15 años, han ido aumentando paulatinamente las producciones académicas referidas al análisis de los lugares de memoria. En Argentina, estos lugares están circunscriptos a la violencia política y estatal desplegada en todo el territorio por la última dictadura cívico militar (1976- 1983). Este creciente interés se debe, en parte, al aumento de los espacios que han sido recuperados por diferentes organizaciones militantes por los derechos humanos. Los objetivos del presente artículo se centran en el análisis de los usos del espacio a través de una lectura cultural de la Geografía y el proceso de marcación del lugar en tanto práctica de inscripción de sentidos en el territorio y la institucionalización del sitio de memoria “Casa Mariani-Teruggi”. Este andamiaje se presenta como puntapié inicial para pensar en los procesos de lugarización en torno a este sitio, donde participan diferentes actores sociales. En este caso la impronta que tiene la Asociación Anahí fundada por Chicha Mariani, refleja las implicancias que tienen estas organizaciones sociales en la producción de sentidos en torno a los lugares de memoria. Espacios que condensan luchas, que buscan materializarse y representar parte de un pasado doloroso a la vez que reivindican los reclamos por Memoria, Verdad y Justicia.
During the last 15 years, academic productions referring to the analysis of places of memory have gradually increased. In Argentina, these places are circumscribed to the political and state violence displayed throughout the territory by the last civic military dictatorship (1976-1983). This growing interest is due, in part, to the increase in the spaces that have been recovered by different militant organizations for human rights. The objectives of this text are focused on the analysis of the uses of space through a cultural reading of Geography and the process of marking the place as a practice of inscription of meanings in the territory and the institutionalization of the memory site "Casa Mariani- Teruggi”. This scaffolding is presented as an initial kick to think about the localization processes around this site, where different social actors participate. In this case, the imprint that the Anahí Association, founded by Chicha Mariani, reflects the implications has together social organizations have in the production of meanings around places of memory. Spaces that condense struggles, that seek to materialize and represent part of a painful past while vindicating the claims for Memory, Truth and Justice.
