Hegel y el nihilismo budista

El presente artículo tiene por objeto abordar el carácter nihilista del budismo en la concepción hegeliana. Nuestra hipótesis es la siguiente: aunque existe cierta ambigüedad en sus consideraciones sobre esta religión, los elementos nihilistas que Hegel parece identificar en el budismo están fundados estrictamente en su relación con la nada, concepto con el que se alude a un retorno del individuo a la sustancia divina, indeterminada e inefable. La nada, idéntica al ser, se constituye en otra denominación para Dios. De esta manera, en primer lugar, procederemos a analizar el concepto de religión y su posición en la historia con el fin de entender las particularidades del budismo; y, en segundo lugar, estudiaremos las referencias a esta religión y su relación con la nada.
The purpose of this article is to address the nihilistic nature of Buddhism in the Hegelian conception. Our hypothesis is the following: although there is some ambiguity in his considerations about this religion, the nihilistic elements that Hegel seems to identify in Buddhism are strictly based on its relationship with nothingness, a concept that alludes to a return of the individual to the divine substance, indeterminate and ineffable. Nothingness, identical to being, constitutes another denomination for God. In this way, first of all, we will proceed to analyze the concept of religion and its position in history in order to understand the particularities of Buddhism; and, secondly, we will study the references to this religion and its relationship with nothingness.
