El siguiente trabajo aborda el problema de la transposición del libro La sociedad del espectáculo, de Guy-Ernest Debord, al cine. Para poder analizar tal proceso, se buscará establecer las condiciones de producción de ambos textos, para poder pasar al análisis de los dispositivos utilizados. El problema principal que se plantea en este punto es cómo clasificar este film, puesto que desafía todas las convenciones en cuanto al género. También se avanzará en la distinción del tema, los motivos, la retórica y el modo de enunciación utilizados. Aquí se hará importante aclarar el uso de la técnica del détournement, sobre la cual el mismo Debord había teorizado.
The following paper deals with the problem of the transposition of the Guy-Ernest Debord’s book The society of spectacle, to the cinema. In order to analyze this process, it will be necessary to establish the production conditions of both texts, so to examine the utilized devices. The main problem of this section arises when someone wants to classify the film, as it defies all the gender conventions. This will allow us to distinguish the theme, the motives, the rhetoric and the enunciation mode used in the texts. It will be indispensable to clarify what is the technique of the détournement, developed by Debord himself.
