¿Transhumanismo predarwiniano?: normatividad fuerte y débil en la perspectiva transhumanista

En este artículo analizaré algunos puntos de convergencia entre la filosofía transhumanista y la crítica filosófica contemporánea al antropocentrismo. Para ello distinguiré entre un tipo de programa normativo fuerte y uno débil (o moderado) en el transhumanismo. El argumento central reside en que la normatividad fuerte en el discurso transhumanista, al suponer que es posible seleccionar exclusivamente las características 'propiamente humanas' para ser conservadas en el estadio post-humano, se basa en una concepción pre-darwiniana de la especie humana, lo cual posee implicancias tanto epistemológicas como éticas.
In this article I will analyse some points of convergence between transhumanist philosophy and contemporary philosophical criticism of anthropocentrism. For this I will distinguish between a type of strong and weak (or moderate) normative program in transhumanism. The central argument ;is that the strong normativity in the transhumanist discourse, assuming that it is possible to select exclusively the 'properly human' characteristics to be conserved in the post-human stage, is based on a pre-Darwinian conception of the human species, which has ethical and epistemological implications.
