Relación entre el tipo de apego y la conducta de infidelidad en adultos jóvenes

Resumen: La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo indagar sí existía alguna relación entre los tipos de apego y la conducta de infidelidad en personas jóvenes adultas, siendo las relaciones con los cuidadores un determinante en el modelo interno de trabajo (memorias, creencias, expectativas) que se sigue cuando se establecen lazos afectivos con pares o parejas, entre otros. Método. Es una investigación de tipo descriptivo correlacional. Participantes: 44 mujeres, 56 hombres, de nivel universitario, con mínimo un año de convivencia con su pareja actual (21, unidos por lo legal y 79 en unión libre). Instrumentos: Se utilizó la adaptación Chilena del CAMIR y El inventario multidimensional de infidelidad. Procedimiento: Se realizaron las siguientes fases: Consentimientos éticos por parte de la institución y de los participantes. Registro de los datos de inclusión. Aplicación del CAMIR y del Inventario Multidimensional de Infi-delidad. Resultados: Para el análisis de se utilizó el índice de correlación de Pearson y la prueba t de Student, para evaluar diferencias significativas en la conducta de infidelidad. El apego seguro correlacionó de manera significativa con la subescala de autonomía. El menor índice de conducta de infidelidad se obtuvo en los participantes con apego seguro y rechazante. El apego preocupante correlacionó de manera negativa con la creencia que la infidelidad se da por un impulso (r=-.216; ns≤ .031). En cuanto al género, los hombres manifestaron una mayor frecuencia en el deseo de infidelidad sexual. Para hombres y mujeres la infidelidad no significa una transgresión a su pareja actual, sino amor hacia un tercero.
Abstract: This research aimed to investigate whether there was any relationship between the types of addiction and behavior of infidelity in adult young people, with relationships with caregivers a key in the internal working model (memories, beliefs, expectations) that follows when bonding with pairs or couples are established, among others. Method. It is a descriptive correlational research. Participants: 44 women, 56 men, college-level, with at least one year of living with his current partner (21, bound together by legal and cohabiting 79). Instruments: Chilean adaptation of CAMIR and Multidimensional Inventory of infidelity was used. Procedure: The following steps were performed: ethical Consents by the institution and participants. Results: For analysis of results index Pearson correlation and Student t test was used to assess significant differences in the behavior of infidelity. Secure attachment correlated significantly with the subscale of autonomy. The lower rate of infidelity behavior was obtained in participants with safe and rejecting attachment. The worrying addiction negatively correlated with the belief that infidelity is given by an impulse (r = - 216;.Ns ≤ .031). In terms of gender, men reported more frequently in the desire for sexual infidelity. For men and women infidelity does not mean a transgression of his current partner, but love a third.
