Lenguas y espacio público: El estudio del paisaje lingüístico. Acercamiento general y al conocimiento del paisaje lingüístico argentino

En este artículo se presentan referencias a las obras que dieron origen al estudio del paisaje lingüístico e impulsaron su establecimiento, entre finales del siglo pasado y principios del actual. Se revisa la evolución de esta área académica, hoy consolidada y pujante, con especial atención a las formas en que el estudio del paisaje lingüístico se ha ido ampliando y diversificando. Se aborda, en particular, la atención a ese paisaje en el ámbito hispánico, con especial detenimiento en el estudio del paisaje lingüístico en la Argentina.
This article presents references to the works that gave rise to the study of linguistic landscape and promoted its establishment between the end of the last century and the beginning of the current one. It reviews the evolution of this now consolidated and thriving academic field, paying special attention to the ways in which the study of linguistic landscape has expanded and diversified itself. It addresses, in particular, the attention paid to this landscape in the Hispanic context, with special detail about the study of linguistic landscape in Argentina.
