Vergüenza -Adicción al sexo-

En el presente trabajo nos servimos de la película Shame para abordar el tema de las adicciones y su correlativa dificultad a nivel del lazo social. Si bien se trata del caso de un adicto al sexo, la trama permite ubicar, de modo más general, el lugar del síntoma y cómo, en ocasiones, a partir de un imprevisto, el programa de goce ya no se repite igual. En esta vía, se destaca la emergencia del pudor en el momento en que queda al descubierto el rechazo a renunciar al goce autoerótico; la vergüenza, como síntoma de la división, y la angustia que permite hacerle lugar a la pregunta por el deseo. El sujeto, por un rato, parece despertar.
In this text the film Shame is used to illustrate the topic of addictions and the resultant diffi culty in establishing social relationships. Although the story is about a man who is addicted to sex, it is possible to contextualize the symptom and to show how the repetition pattern of pleasure is not longer the same on certain occasions due to the unpredictable. This is how the upsurge of prudishness is noticeable as the rejection to stop auto-eroticism is revealed together with shame as a symptom of division and anguish which makes the character wonder on his wish. The subject seems to wake up for a while.
