Introducción: El estilo de aprendizaje es la forma que tiene cada individuo de procesar e incorporar la información. Varía de un estudiante a otro y cambia a lo largo de la vida y trayectoria académica. De acuerdo con Alonso, Gallego & Honey (1995), los estilos de aprendizaje pueden ser: activo, reflexivo, teórico o pragmático. Las personas que utilizan un estilo reflexivo se caracterizan por reunir datos y analizarlos de forma detallada y sistémica. Son prudentes, observan y escuchan a los demás. Sólo intervienen cuando tienen los argumentos necesarios para exponer su postura frente a algo. La pregunta que quieren responder con el aprendizaje es ¿por qué? Objetivos: Describir los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes. Comparar datos en forma cuanti y cualitativa.
Introduction: The learning style is the way each individual has of processing and incorporating information. It varies from one student to another and changes throughout life and academic trajectory. According to Alonso, Gallego & Honey (1995), learning styles can be: active, reflective, theoretical or pragmatic. People who use a reflective style are characterized by collecting data and analyzing it in a detailed and systemic way. They are prudent, observe and listen to others. They only intervene when they have the necessary arguments to expose their position on something. The question they want to answer with learning is why? Objectives: Describe the learning styles of students. Compare data quantitatively and qualitatively. Material and methods: The Honey-Alonso questionnaire was administered to 195 first-year students of the Dentistry Career (UNLP).
