La formación para la actividad proyectual como disciplina científico-tecnológica debe entrenar al futuro profesional para responder adecuadamente frente a las demandas de la Cuarta Revolución Industrial y la sociedad del conocimiento que le sirve de matriz. Dado que el desempeño profesional del diseñador tiene que evolucionar en concordancia con el contexto en el que se despliega, la formación del futuro profesional del diseño debe incluir herramientas conceptuales que le permitan detectar, identificar, evaluar y, en lo posible, anticipar las transformaciones en su contexto de desempeño, con el propósito general de brindarle los medios para una respuesta adaptativa al cambio.
Training for the projective activity as a scientifictechnological discipline must teach the future professional to respond adequately to the demands of the 4th Industrial Revolution and the Knowledge Society that serves as their matrix. Given that the designer’s professional performance must evolve in accordance with the context in which it is deployed, the training of the future Design professional must include conceptual tools that allow them to detect, identify, evaluate and, as far as possible, anticipate the transformations in their context of performance, with the general purpose of providing the means for an adaptive response to change.
