Ruinas en la tecnosfera: identidades supervivientes

El progreso tecnológico y el acumulado material en la tecnosfera, definen fronteras a través de posibilidades de movilidad y accesibilidad a la tecnología. Esas zonas liminales actúan como filtros conformando distintas centralidades y subalternidades (o periferias), inclusiones y exclusiones, como formas nuevas de colonialidad. La materia de la tecnosfera, traicionada por la linealidad de su propio progreso y por el estrago que causa la naturaleza, es desechada transformándose en un novedoso sentido de ruina. El arte la libera de su inutilidad transformándola en su material para visibilizar desde su abandono las fronteras entre lo funcional y lo inútil, que genera el propio mundo tecnológico. El artista cataloga y serializa sus acumulaciones; la forma-trayecto deviene la operación artística privilegiada para la consecución del material ruinoso. El arte usa al objeto tecnológico (en ruinas) no por su efímera funcionalidad, sino por las propiedades ruinológicas que adquiere a partir de su desuso.
Technological progress and the accumulated material at the technosphere define frontiers through the possibilities of mobility and accessibility to technology. These liminal zones act as filters shaping different centralities and subalternities (or peripheries), inclusions and exclusions, as new forms of coloniality. The matter of the technosphere, betrayed by the linearity of its own progress and for the havoc that nature causes, is discarded and transformed into a new sense of ruin. Art frees it from its futility and transforms it into its material to make visible from its abandonment those borders between the functional and the useless generated by the technological world itself. The artist catalogs and serializes his accumulations; the form-journey becomes the privileged artistic operation for the acquisition of the ruinous material. Art uses the technological object (in ruins) not because of its ephemeral functionality, but rather of the ruinological properties it acquires from its disuse.
