La actividad proyectual, método y pensamiento, es un legado, un instrumento, una herramienta y una manera de estar en el mundo, en una contemporaneidad pos maquínica como la nuestra, en el inicio de un proceso de repensar nuestras fallidas industrializaciones. Nos parece importante pensar desde dónde asumir el legado bauhausiano y qué sentido otorgamos al pensamiento del posdesarrollo.
The question about the meaning of the anniversary of a foundational school of modern design such as the Bauhaus in the current context of industry, of lack of future, raises the need to think about other projects. This is why Design goes through positioning processes in the scientific space. This positioning implies the need to codify their social role, their valorization, but also build the epistemological bases of Latin American project thinking. Considering this reality requires us an endogenous project approach that contributes to the deep cultural and ecological transitions that humanity must face to overcome the current interrelated crises of climate, food, energy, poverty and meanings. In the framework of the centenary of the creation of the Bauhaus School of Genesis space of the Design profession, we consider the critical reflection of the contributions and values that the movement disseminated as well as understand the socio-political context where it emerged. Resignifying the utopian dimension of design as a legacy of the Bauhaus. Our goal is to discuss the concepts and categories that this common project is required.
