Esta investigación aborda temas relacionados con la educación artística en Paraguay, centrándose en la figura de la docente y artista Ofelia Echagüe Vera quien irrumpe en la escena artística paraguaya, en la primera mitad del siglo pasado, innovando formas plásticas y proponiendo nuevas formas de concebir el arte como resultado de su estancia becada en Montevideo y Buenos Aires, situación que también encuentra correlación en la educación, considerando que Echagüe Vera también es docente en instituciones educativas de arte e imparte clases particulares a domicilio.
This investigation addresses issues related to the artistic education in Paraguay, focusing on the figure of the teacher and artist Ofelia Echagüe Vera who breaks into the Paraguayan art scene, in the first half of the last century, innovating plastic forms and proposing new ways to conceive the art as the result of her scholarship stay in Montevideo and Buenos Aires, a situation that also finds correlation in education, considering that Echagüe Vera is also a teacher in art educational institutions and gives private lessons at home.
