El libro Violencia contra las mujeres, discurso y justicia(2016) es el resultado del trabajo interdisciplinario del equipo de investigación que llevó adelante el proyecto “Las violencias contra las mujeres: los discursos en juego y el acceso a la justicia”, en el marco del Instituto de Cultura Jurídica de la Facultad de Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales (FCJyS) de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP). El presente libro contribuye al análisis de la problemática de la violencia contra las mujeres, promoviendo una mirada original, ya que pone énfasis en los testimonios de las mujeres, es decir, las narrativas puestas en tensión con la mirada de los/as funcionarios/as, operadores/as de justicia que reciben sus demandas. En este sentido, se hace hincapié en investigar si los/las operadores/as se comprometen en “el cuidado” y “el respeto” de la voz del otro cuando escuchan a las mujeres que padecen violencias. La importancia de este tipo de metodología es que, cuando una mujer testimonia sobre las situaciones de violencia padecidas, no solamente comunica hechos ocurridos en el pasado, sino que se reconstituye a sí misma, tiene efectos performativos (Butler, 2009).
The book Violence against women, discourse and justice is the result of the interdisciplinary work of the research team which carried out the following project "Violence against women: discourses at stake and access to justice", within the framework Of the Institute of Legal Culture of the Facultad de Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales (La Plata University). The book contributes to the analysis of the problem of violence against women by promoting an original look, since it emphasizes the testimonies of women in tension with the perspective of the officials, justice operators who receive the demands of the same. The book aims to identify the contribution of the gender approach and the feminist perspective in approaches to violence. In this sense, it is emphasized to investigate if the operators engage in the "care" and "respect" of the voice of the other when they listen to the women who suffer violence. The importance of this type of methodology is that when a woman testifies about the situations of violence suffered, she not only communicates events that occurred in the past, but also reconstitutes herself, that is, has performative effects (Butler, 2009: 95)
