El territorio hecho cuerpo: del espacio material al espacio simbólico

En los últimos años el mundo ha sido atravesado por un amplio proceso de reorganización social, en el que las dimensiones espaciales y geográficas han sido puestas en juego. En este contexto, la geografía ya no solo remite a lo material de la tierra, sino que al momento de interpretarla han sido puestas en juego otras dimensiones que la constituyen. Por ello, el presente artículo intentará abordar cómo se ha ido constituyendo la geografía, el territorio, y el lugar del sujeto, para lo cual será necesario desplegar las relaciones entre el cuerpo y el territorio, y los modos de subjetivación con base en las relaciones sociales y territoriales.
Over the last years, the world has faced a process of major social reorganization, where spatial and geographical dimensions have been questioned. In this context, geography does not only refer to the material aspect of land, but to the other dimensions included. Consequently, this paper will study the progressive constitution of geography, the territory, and the place of the subject, for which it will be necessary to discuss the relationship between the body and the territory and the ways of subjectivation based on social and territorial relationships.
