Nociones del constructo familia en el contexto del surgimiento del test frases incompletas de Joseph M. Sacks y el constructo hoy

El presente trabajo fue elaborado por un grupo de profesionales y estudiantes de la carrera de Lic. y Prof. en Psicología de la UNLP, en el marco del proyecto de investigación denominado “Actualización del Test Frases incompletas de Joseph M. Sacks”. El Test de Frases Incompletas fue creado por Joseph Sacks junto a otros psicólogos de Nueva York del “Veterans Administration Mental Hygiene Service” en 1948. La intención es realizar un recorrido histórico por el constructo familia, ya que es una de las cuatro grandes áreas de exploración representativas de la adaptación del sujeto que integran la técnica. Partimos de que la característica del concepto de familia es ser dinámico y complejo, por lo que se ha modificado a lo largo del tiempo y en los contextos geopolíticos. En el contexto de posguerra de surgimiento de la técnica el constructo estaba ligado a las relaciones íntimas como garantes del buen destino de los sujetos en la sociedad. Actualmente, nos encontramos con una amplia diversidad de sistemas de familias, lo que permitiría pensar que a pesar de los cambios la familia sigue sosteniendo la capacidad de alojar al recién venido al mundo y consolidándose en sus funciones estructurantes del psiquismo humano.
This work was prepared by a group of professionals and students from the BA and Prof. degree in Psychology at UNLP, within the framework of the research project called “Updating the Test Phrases incomplete by Joseph M. Sacks”. The Incomplete Phrases Test was created by Joseph Sacks together with other New York psychologists from the “Veterans Administration Mental Hygiene Service” in 1948. The intention is to make a historical journey through the family construct, since it is one of the four major areas of exploration representative of the adaptation of the subject that make up the technique. We start from the fact that the characteristic of the concept of family is to be dynamic and complex, which is why it has been modified over time and in geopolitical contexts. In the post-war context of the emergence of technology, the construct was linked to intimate relationships as guarantors of the good destiny of the subjects in society. Currently, we find a wide diversity of family systems, which would allow us to think that despite the changes, the family continues to maintain the capacity to house the newcomer to the world and consolidate its structuring functions of the human psyche.
