This article originated from considering nodal aspects of the different pedagogical approaches in relation to the teaching of art. It is known that each approach deals with specific problems and particular purposes of a period of time. Among them, we will focus on the way of thinking the social and cultural role of the school and the treatment of art in educational institutions with the aim of addressing the transformations of the class as a historical construction, paying special attention to the direction of the visual arts.
Este artículo parte de considerar aspectos nodales de las distintas corrientes pedagógicas en relación con la enseñanza del arte. Es sabido que cada enfoque atiende a determinados problemas y propósitos particulares de una época. Entre ellos, nos detendremos en la manera de pensar el papel social y cultural de la escuela y en el tratamiento del arte en las instituciones educativas, con la finalidad de abordar las transformaciones de la clase entendida como una construcción histórica, centrándonos específicamente en el derrotero de las clases de artes visuales.
