Este trabajo propone re-significar las categorías formales utilizadas por historiadores del arte para describir y/o analizar determinadas obras o exposiciones a lo largo del tiempo. Se materializará en un análisis concreto, partiendo de este enfoque, con la muestra Xul Solar: Panactivista; acontecida durante el primer cuatrimestre del presente año en el Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes.
The present paper aims to resignify the formal categories employed by art historians to describe or analyse artworks and expositions over time. On the basis of this outlook, this review will explore the exhibition: Xul Solar: Panactivista which took place during this year’s first term at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes.
