Resumen: Las investigaciones llevadas a cabo sobre la producción historiográfica alfonsí reconocen que Alfonso X y su equipo de historiadores tuvieron una forma especial de " ver y construir la historia" al enmarcarla en un programa político-cultural de largo alcance. En él, se entramaron no sólo el ámbito social, político y cultural sino también el genérico. En este marco, el presente trabajo analiza e l mundo femenino a través de la figura de la mora Zaida, princesa toledana que se convirtió al cristianismo y fue madre del joven Sancho Alfonso, hijo varón de Alfonso VI, muerto en la Batalla de Uclés. Nuestro propósito es centrarnos en la retórica alfonsí frente a la mujer conversa para definir y caracterizar, en última instancia, el discurso de la historia oficial frente al universo femenino del siglo XIII .
Abstract: Research about alfonsí historiography production accepts that Alphonse X and his team of historians shared a special way of "seeing and constructing history" by adjusting it to a long-terco political and cultural program. This program involved not only social, political and cultural issues , but also some aspects related to gender. This article analyzes the feminine world through the figure of Moore Zaida, the Toledo princess that converted herself into Christianity and was the mother of young Sancho Alfonso, son of Alfonso VI, killed in the battle of Uclés. Our purpose is to focus on alfonsí's rhetoric in what regards the converse woman to define and describe, finally, the official discourse of history in relation to the feminine world during the thirteenth century.
