Los documentos fotocopiados : ¿se puede acreditar su autenticidad o falsedad para el ámbito jurídico?

En este artículo, se pone de manifiesto el debate existente entre los especialistas de la pericia caligráfica sobre la fiabilidad del análisis de documentos fotocopiados. Este asunto adquiere relevancia a consecuencia de uno de los objetivos propios de la figura del perito, que es auxiliar al juez en su fallo, por lo que los informes que realice deben contener un resultado que sea fiable, objetivo y que proceda de un estudio meticuloso. De esta forma, se desarrollan cuáles son las limitaciones técnicas con las que se encuentra un perito calígrafo que no dispone de la documentación objeto de estudio original y ha de trabajar con fotocopias, así como lo avances a nivel investigativo sobre este tema, con la finalidad de verificar si se podría acreditar la autenticidad o falsedad de un documento únicamente con su estudio en formato fotocopia.
This article highlights the existing debate among specialists in calligraphic expertise on the reliability of the analysis of photocopied documents. This matter acquires relevance as a result of one of the objectives of the figure of the expert, which is to assist the judge in his ruling, so the reports they make must contain a result that is reliable, objective and that comes from a meticulous study. In this way, the technical limitations encountered by a calligraphic expert who does not have the original documentation under study and has to work with photocopies are developed, as well as the advances at the investigative level on this subject, with the purpose of verifying whether the authenticity or falsity of a document could be proven solely by studying it in photocopy format.
