Actualidad y perspectivas del manejo agroecológico del suelo en la Región Alimentaria de Córdoba (RAC)

Los sistemas productivos hortícolas de la Región Alimentaria de Córdoba presentan limitada sostenibilidad y fuerte dependencia a insumos externos relacionado en gran parte con la pérdida de fertilidad que presentan los suelos del territorio. En este trabajo se realizaron entrevistas a diferentes actores territoriales con el fin de conocer la actualidad y las perspectivas en relación al manejo agroecológico del suelo. Se comprobó que las prácticas más frecuentes de los productores/as son el uso de fertilizantes químicos y uso de residuos avícolas “crudos”. Así mismo, se identificó que las enmiendas orgánicas pueden ser un insumo útil para recuperar fertilidad de los suelos, pero que aún es muy incipiente el uso de esta tecnología. Además, para poder generar transiciones agroecológicas sostenidas en el tiempo, su uso debe estar acompañado por un abordaje integral del suelo que incluya otras prácticas de manejo ecológico del mismo. The horticultural production systems of the Food Region of Córdoba have limited sustainability and strong dependence on external inputs related in large part to the loss of fertility presented by the soils of the territory. In this work, interviews were conducted with different territorial actors in order to know the current situation and perspectives in relation to agroecological soil management. It was found that the most frequent practices of producers are the use of chemical fertilizers and the use of "raw" poultry waste. Likewise, it was identified that organic amendments can be a useful input to recover soil fertility, but the use of this technology is still very incipient. In addition, in order to generate agroecological transitions sustained over time, its use must be accompanied by a comprehensive approach to the soil that includes other ecological soil management practices.
