Arte y comunismo en la Argentina en la primera mitad del siglo XX

En el artículo se reconstruyen y analizan las distintas posiciones estéticas sostenidas por el Partido Comunista Argentino desde su creación y hasta 1948. A partir del trabajo con fuentes hemerográficas se reponen las principales discusiones en torno al rol del arte y de los artistas en la sociedad, que incluyen las voces de reconocidos dirigentes partidarios, artistas y escritores. Se examinan, también, las formas que asumen las relaciones de ciertos artistas plásticos (realistas y concretos) con el Partido y las repercusiones que tiene en la Argentina la imposición del realismo socialista como estética oficial del comunismo.
Th e purpose of this article is to reconstruct and analyse diff erent aesthetic attitudes presented by the Commuinst Party of Argentina from its creation to 1948. On the basis of an analysis of the newspapers and journals the subject of the social role of art and artists is brought back under discussion, with opinions of famous party leaders, artists and writers. Moreover, the relations of visual art manifestations (realistic and concrete) with the Party, as well as the role of Argentina in the promotion of the socialitic realism as an offi cial aesthetic current of Communism are investigated.
Celem ninie jszego artykułu jest zrekonstruowanie i analiza różnych postaw estetycznych podtrzymywanych przez Komunistyczną Partię Argentyny od momentu jej powstania aż do 1948 roku. Na podstawie analizy źródłowej materiałów prasowych ponownie podjęta została dyskusja na temat roli sztuki i artystów w społeczeństwie z uwzględnieniem opinii wyrażanych przez sławnych przywódców partyjnych, artystów i pisarzy. Ponadto przeanalizowane zostały również relacje artystów z Partią widoczne w sztukach plastycznych i rola Argentyny w narzuceniu realizmu socjalistycznego jako ofi cjalnej estetyki komunizmu.
