La república del diálogo: Una relectura republicana de la teoría democrática deliberativa de Carlos Nino

El presente artículo tiene por meta principal precisar el alcance de las adendas republicanas efectuadas por C. S. Nino a su propia teoría democrática, liberal amplia, deliberativa y epistémica. Atendiendo a dicho objetivo principal, es que en este trabajo nos proponemos cumplimentar tres objetivos específicos. En primer lugar, intentaremos reconstruir de forma precisa las implicancias de los términos calificativos liberal y epistémico en la teoría democrática de C. S. Nino, trazando cierto parangón con la propuesta liberal igualitaria de M. Walzer. En segundo lugar, explicitaremos cinco argumentos en defensa de la aproximación al republicanismo cívico por parte de la teoría democrática de C. S. Nino, señalando cierta comparación con las teorizaciones republicanas de J. Rawls, R. Gargarella y F. Ovejero Lucas. En tercer lugar, esbozaremos dos argumentos en defensa de una concepción republicana reflexiva de la democracia deliberativa, la cual ofrecería dos posibles ventajas por sobre la concepción liberal amplia.
The main objective of this article is to specify the scope of the republican addends made by C. S. Nino to his own democratic, broad liberal, deliberative and epistemic theory. In response to this main objective, it is that in this work we propose to fulfill three specific objectives. In the first place, we will try to precisely reconstruct the implications of the term liberal and epistemic adjectives in the democratic theory of C. S. Nino, drawing a certain parallel with the egalitarian liberal proposal of M. Walzer. Secondly, we will explain five arguments in defense of the approximation to civic republicanism by the democratic theory of C. S. Nino, pointing out some comparison with the republican theorizations of J. Rawls, R. Gargarella and F. Ovejero Lucas. Third, we will outline two arguments in defense of a reflexive republican conception of deliberative democracy, which would offer two possible advantages over the broad liberal conception.
Das Hauptziel dieses Artikels ist es, den Umfang der republikanischen Ergänzungen von C. S. Nino zu seiner eigenen demokratischen, breiten liberalen, deliberativen und epistemischen Theorie zu spezifizieren. Als Antwort darauf sollen in dieser Arbeit drei spezifische Ziele erreicht werden. An erster Stelle werden wir versuchen, die Implikationen des Begriffs liberale und epistemische Qualifikationen in der demokratietheoretischen Theorie von C. S. Nino genau zu rekonstruieren, wobei wir eine gewisse Parallele zum egalitären liberalen Vorschlag von M. Walzer ziehen. Zweitens werden wir fünf Argumente zur Verteidigung der Herangehensweise an den bürgerlichen Republikanismus durch die demokratische Theorie von C. S. Nino erläutern und und dabei auf einige Vergleiche mit den republikanischen Theorien von J. Rawls, R. Gargarella und F. Ovejero Lucas hinweisen. Drittens werden wir zwei Argumente zur Verteidigung einer reflektierenden republikanischen Konzeption der deliberativen Demokratie skizzieren, die zwei mögliche Vorteile gegenüber der breiten liberalen Konzeption bieten würde.
