El presente trabajo aborda la cuestión de la utopía en el pensamiento de Gilles Deleuze. Frente a diversos comentadores que lo consideran un autor utopista (Buchanan, Patton, Scherer, Zourabichvili), argumentamos que su filosofía es inconciliable con la utopía a causa de su opción por el devenir, la fabulación y la creación de lo posible. No obstante, sostenemos que la utopía pone de manifiesto una ambigüedad en la idea deleuzeana de inmanencia. Si bien ésta tiene por efecto rechazar los ideales y las posiciones trascendentes, Deleuze conjuga la inmanencia y la utopía mediante una evaluación inmanente de las acciones guiadas por los ideales utópicos.
This paper deals with the issue of utopia in Gilles Deleuze’s thought. Regardless of the fact that some commentators consider him a utopian author (Buchanan, Patton, Scherer, Zourabichvili), we maintain that his philosophy is altogether incompatible with utopia due to his choice for becoming, fabulation, and the creation of the possible. Nevertheless, we sustain that utopia itself shows ambiguity in the Deleuze’s idea of immanence. Even if it rejects ideals and transcendental positions, Deleuze connects immanence and utopia by carrying out an immanent evaluation of the actions guided by utopian ideals.
