Las sociedades populares de educación: una aproximación a su historia, 1850-1930

Mi objeto de estudio es la historia del normalismo en Argentina y, con este escrito, inicio una nueva línea de trabajo: indago de qué modo estos educadores promueven la creación de sociedades populares de educación y de sus escuelas como modelo educativo. He advertido en mis investigaciones que estos educadores, desde funciones de gobierno, tienen una concepción liberal y que intentan imponer un sistema educacional acorde con estas ideas. Siempre analizo, entonces, a funcionarios, y los documentos oficiales forman parte central de mis fuentes. Me interesa saber si efectivamente existió una política liberal desde los gobiernos, y el estudio de la sociedades populares de educación es una nueva entrada para analizar esta cuestión, escasamente explorada. Existen capítulos y artículos que indagan de modo secundario las sociedades populares de educación. Al mismo tiempo, es mi primera aproximación al tema. Por lo tanto, este artículo necesariamente es un bosquejo y un primer panorama.
My object of study is the history of normalism in Argentina, and with this writing I start a new line of work: I explore how these educators promote the creation of Popular Societies of Education and their schools as an educational model. I have noticed in my research that these educators, from government functions, have a liberal conception and that they try to impose an educational system in accordance with these ideas. I always analyze, then, educators who occupy government functions, and official documents are a central part of my sources. I am interested in knowing if a liberal policy existed from the governments, and the study of the Popular Societies of Education is a new entry to analyze this question, scarcely explored. There are chapters and articles that investigate in a secondary way the Popular Societies of Education. At the same time, it is my first approach to the subject. Therefore, this article is necessarily a sketch and a first panorama of the history of the Popular Societies of Education.
