Se discuten los nuevos datos e interpretaciones sobre el Túmulo de Campana aportados en un artículo reciente de Loponte y Acosta (2015). Se aclaran errores que persisten en el citado trabajo y se esclarecen algunas nuevas confusiones e inconsistencias. Los nuevos problemas se centran en la ubicación del túmulo y su relación con el sitio arqueológico excavado por Lafon, en los cálculos acerca de su volumen y en la discusión acerca de su filiación con la entidad arqueológica Goya-Malabrigo.
New data and interpretations of the Túmulo de Campana in a recent article by Loponte and Acosta (2015) are discussed. We clarify errors that persist in that work as well as some new misunderstandings and inconsistencies. The new problems focused on the location of the mound and its relation with the archaeological site excavated by Lafon; the calculations about the volume; and discussion about their affiliation with the archaeological identify Goya-Malabrigo.
