Huellas de geografia en el binomio turismo y calidad de vida

A nivel academico, la relacion explicita de los conceptos turismo y calidad de vida viene desarrollandose con impetu desde los inicios del siglo XXI. Para comprender dicha relacion, la Geografia acude a aspectos como la reflexion en torno a la dimensión espacial (por ejemplo, localizaciones y distribuciones), la referencia a conceptos como territorio, lugar, paisaje y region, y la aplicacion de metodos como la observacion directa. Sin embargo, hasta ahora no se ha accedido a trabajos escritos en castellano que retraten lo hecho hasta el momento. Esto se contrapone con ambitos como el anglosajon y portugues, donde si se encuentran publicaciones que realizan revisiones y sistematizaciones bibliograficas. En razon de estos planteamientos, el articulo tiene por objetivo analizar la literatura cientifica que vincula al turismo y la calidad de vida, considerando tanto aportes teoricos como empiricos. Se pretende destacar la participacion de la Geografia, para dar un primer paso hacia la construccion del estado del arte correspondiente a esta linea de investigacion. Metodológicamente, se aplica revision bibliografica y se sistematizan 36 investigaciones que surgen de la indagacion en los catalogos de la Biblioteca Electronica del Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnologia e Innovacion Productiva de la Republica Argentina, el Sistema Nacional de Repositorios Digitales y la Red Federada Latinoamericana de Repositorios Institucionales de Publicaciones Cientificas. Respecto a los resultados, se ratifica que la investigacion basada en la calidad de vida de las poblaciones anfitrionas es mas amplia y exhaustiva que la centralizada en el bienestar objetivo y subjetivo de las poblaciones visitantes. En cuanto a la Geografia, se identifican algunos aportes que responden a perspectivas diversas, como la descriptiva, cuantitativa y critica.
At an academic level, the relationship between the concepts of tourism and quality of life has been developing with impetus since the beginning of the 21st century. To understand this relationship, Geography turns to aspects such as the re! ection on the spatial dimension (for example, locations and distributions), the reference to concepts such as territory, place, landscape and region, and the application of methods such as direct observation. However, until now there have been no works written in Spanish that portray what has been done up to now. This contrasts with an environment such as the Anglo-Saxon and Portuguese, where there are indeed publications that verify bibliographic revisions and systematizations. Due to these approaches, the article aims to analyze the scienti" c literature that links tourism and quality of life, considering both theoretical and empirical contributions. It is intended to highlight the participation of Geography, to take a " rst step towards the construction of the state of the art corresponding to this line of research. Methodologically, a bibliographic review is applied and 36 investigations that arise from the investigation in the catalogs of the Electronic Library of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation of the Argentine Republic, the National System of Digital Repositories and the Latin American Federated Network of Repositories are systematized. Regarding the results, it is con" rmed that the research based on the quality of life of the host populations is broader and more exhaustive than that centralized in the objective and subjective well-being of the visiting populations. Regarding Geography, some contributions are identi" ed that respond to diverse perspectives, such as descriptive, quantitative, and critical.
