El trabajo trata los vínculos entre la vanguardia concretaliderada por Tomás Maldonado y un grupo de estudiantesde arquitectura de la UBA. A partir de 1948 el grupode artistas y arquitectos se constituye como un frentede lucha por la arquitectura moderna y la renovacióncultural, y emprende una serie de iniciativas sumamentenovedosas en las que se fusionan arte, arquitectura ydiseño. En este contexto, se analizan las fluctuantesrelaciones del grupo con el peronismo, con la intenciónde complejizar el relato histórico más extendido sobreeste periodo.
This work addresses the links between the artists of the Concrete Avant-garde led by Tomás Maldonado and a group of students of architecture of the Buenos Aires University. From 1948 the group of artists and architects constituted a front for struggle for modern architecture and aesthetic and cultural renewal, and undertakes a number of highly innovative and corrosive initiatives where merge art, architecture and design. In this context, are analyzed the fluctuating relations that the group engaged with peronism, intending to complexify the most widespread historical vision on this period.
