Entretejiendo redes en la vejez. Análisis de personas mayores participantes del Club de los Abuelos en la pandemia por Covid-19

Esta investigación estuvo situada en el Club de Abuelos de la ciudad de Santo Tomé (Santa Fe), durante parte del año 2021 y la llevamos a cabo con un grupo de personas mayores que asistieron al Club en dicho momento. En el marco de una metodología mixta, y a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas, conversaciones casuales, observaciones y encuestas fue posible generar un acercamiento a sus actuales redes de apoyo social, de manera de indagar en las características que tienen, los apoyos que brindan y/o reciben, como así también en identificar los vínculos que las conforman, y el impacto de las medidas de Aislamiento Social Preventivo y Obligatorio y Distanciamiento Social Preventivo y Obligatorio en ellas. Una particularidad en esta tesina deviene del contexto sociohistórico que nos atravesó por una pandemia por Covid-19, mediante la cual se adoptaron en Argentina una serie de medidas a través de Decretos de Necesidad y Urgencia. Aquellas impactaron en distintos aspectos: en la producción de esta investigación y sus tiempos, en el Club de los Abuelos en tanto espacio institucional para desarrollar actividades, construir y sostener vinculaciones, y en las personas mayores y sus redes.
This investigation was located in the Club de los Abuelos of the city of Santo Tomé (Santa Fe), during part of the year 2021 and we carried it out with a group of elderly people who attended the Club at that time. Within the framework of a mixed methodology, and through semi-structured interviews, casual conversations, observations, and surveys, it was possible to approach their current social support networks, in order to investigate their characteristics, the support they provide and/or receive, as well as to identify the links that make them up, and the impact of the measures of Aislamiento Social Preventivo y Obligatorio y Distanciamiento Social Preventivo y Obligatorio on them. A particularity in this thesis comes from the sociohistorical context that affected us by a Covid-19 pandemic, through which a series of measures were adopted in Argentina through Decrees of Necessity and Urgency. They had an impact in different aspects: on the production of this research and its times, on the Club de los Abuelos as an institutional space to develop activities, build and sustain relationships, and on older people and their networks.
