Proponemos una reflexión sobre las violencias policiales. Afirmamos que la definición de la violencia es un campo de disputa donde la legitimidad de acciones y de representaciones se dirimen entre diferentes actores con posiciones de poder diferenciadas. Por lo tanto, para reflexionar sobre el accionar policial, es necesario comprender qué se define cómo violencia y qué no.
We propose a reflection on police violence. We affirm that the definition of violence is a field of dispute where the legitimacy of actions and representations is settled between different actors with different positions of power. Therefore, it is necessary to reflection police actions to understand what is defined as violence and what is not.
