El presente artículo ofrece una síntesis de cincuenta artículos clave de la revista Comunicación y Cultura, editada por Héctor Schmucler y por Armand Mattelart entre 1973 y 1985. Los textos formaron parte del proceso de investigación acerca de esta publicación tan relevante para el campo de la comunicación en América Latina y constituyen una suerte de archivo que puede contribuir a otras investigaciones que necesiten abordar las intervenciones fundamentales realizadas por los intelectuales que escribieron en ella. El panorama que se presenta incluye reflexiones teóricas, miradas históricas, análisis de situaciones específicas, crítica del discurso de los medios, observaciones sobre debates políticos, entre otros aspectos.
The present article offers a synthesis of fifty key articles of the magazine Communication and Culture, edited by Héctor Schmucler and by Armand Mattelart between 1973 and 1985. The texts formed a part of the process of investigation it brings over of this so relevant publication for the field of the communication in Latin America and they constitute a luck of file that it can contribute to other investigations that need to approach the fundamental interventions realized by the intellectual ones who wrote in her. The panorama that one presents includes theoretical reflections, historical looks, analysis of specific situations, critique of the speech of the means, observations on political debates, between other aspects.
