- O presente artigo visa analisar o uso do termo grego nómos em 2 Macabeus, destacando o estabelecimento dentro deste livro de uma propaganda judaica em defesa das “leis ancestrais”, a fim de validar a resistência dos Macabeus em prol do modo de vida judaico (Ioudaismós) e contra a imposição do modo de vida grego (Hellenismós) sobre os judeus.
This article aims to analyze the use of the Greek term nómos in 2 Maccabees, highlighting the establishment within this book of a Jewish propaganda in defense of the “ancestral laws” in order to validate the resistance of the Maccabees in favor of the Jewish way of life (Ioudaismós) against the imposition of the Greek way of life (Hellenismós) over the Jews.
