Con el propósito de reflexionar sobre su utilidad y pertinencia, en el presente trabajo se tratan los conceptos teóricos de Cultura e Identidad desde un enfoque antropológico, lo que entendemos aportará en la construcción de una IT que contemple no solo las particularidades de los diferentes grupos socioculturales latinoamericanos y de sus territorios, sino también los significados de sus acciones. From de colonization of South America and Africa, the territories of the colonies were to the service of the metropolis in order to provide raw materials. The globalization of the financial capitalism follows the same pattern, relocating the production of biofuels out of their borders and concentrating the capital in transnational agrarian enterprises. This paper review five myths that seek to legitimize this production and approach two case-studies (Guatemala and Senegal) that evidence the utilization of the objective territories is harming the indigenous populations and fundamentally the women. We conclude by suggesting a shift from “Focus Territories to Possible Territories”, by means of a Territorial Intelligence approach.
