Jesús María Barbero : Los aportes a la agenda en comunicación/cultura

Este texto constituye una aproximación al pensamiento del filósofo y comunicador Jesús Martín Barbero desde dos coordenadas. Primero la geográfica, esto es, pensar desde América Latina como territorio político y temporal (la América Latina de las dictaduras, pero también de la esperanza), lo que configura su pensamiento. La manera como se aproxima a lo popular se constituye desde este lugar donde decide pensar. En un segundo momento, el artículo se ocupa de explorar otra coordenada: la que se vincula al lugar disciplinario de enunciación, esto es la academia, y a dos campos, la comunicación y la filosofía. De esta manera, el trabajo transita por los delgados y fronterizos caminos que se constituyen cuando se piensa de manera crítica la comunicación y la cultura.
This text constitutes an approximation to the thought of the philosopher and communicator Jesus Martin Barbero from two coordinates. First the geographical one, this is, to think from Latin America as territory politician and temporarily (the Latin America of the dictatorships, but also of the hope), which forms his thought. The way like brings near to the popular thing is constituted from this place where it decides to think. In the second moment, the article is busy with exploring another coordinate: the one that links itself to the disciplinary place of statement, this is the academy, and to two fields, the communication and the philosophy. Hereby, the work passes along the thin and frontier ways that are constituted when the communication and the culture is thought in a critical way.
