De escuela a facultad: una historia política de la Facultad de Periodismo y Comunicación Social de La Plata (1934-1998)

La investigación reconstruye la historia de la Facultad de Periodismo y Comunicación Social de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, desde su fundación, en 1934, hasta el Plan de Estudios 1998, el último vigente. En el trabajo se analizan las diversas propuestas de gestión de las autoridades y su imbricación política con los contextos históricos recorridos, las transformaciones en los diseños curriculares y las discusiones epistemológicas en torno a la comunicación social, la configuración de la planta docente y el rol del estudiantado. En su anexo documental, la tesis aporta un corpus exhaustivo de fuentes institucionales inéditas y de testimonios orales que contribuyen al resguardo de la memoria institucional.
The investigation reconstructs the history of the Faculty of Journalism and Social Communication of the National University of La Plata, from his foundation, in 1934, up to the Study plan 1998, the last in force one. In the work there are analyzed the diverse plans of management of the authorities and his political overlap by the historical crossed contexts, the transformations in the curriculum and the epistemológicas discussions concerning the social communication, the configuration of the educational staff and the role of the students. In his documentary annexe, the thesis contributes an exhaustive corpus of institutional unpublished sources and oral testimonies that contribute to the preservation of the institutional memory.
