Ecos indigenistas en el campo artístico argentino

En el presente artículo se abordarán los ecos del movimiento indigenista en el campo artístico argentino, para lo que se analizarán escritos, exposiciones y artistas que se vieron influenciados por dicha corriente entre los años 1910-1930. Se tendrán en cuenta los distintos Salones en los que se exhibieron obras afines al indigenismo, los artistas que adhirieron a esta corriente, los escritores que plasmaron las reivindicaciones del arte autóctono en la revista de arte Augusta, así como también las diferentes acciones que fomentaron la revalorización y la concientización de las producciones autóctonas en el país entre las que se pueden mencionar la creación de grandes talleres en distintos centros del país. Se analizará, además, la postura que la crítica y la historia del arte argentino adoptaron frente al surgimiento de esta corriente en el país.
In this article the echoes of the indigenist movement in the Argentine artistic field will be addressed. To that end documents, exhibitions and artists that were influenced by such movement between 1910 and 1930 will be analyzed. We will take into account the different Rooms in which works related to the indigenism were exhibited, the artists who supported this movement, the documents that captured the vindication of native art in the art magazine Augusta, and the different actions that promoted the appreciation and awareness of the native productions in the country. The position that the critique and history of Argentine art took regarding the rise of this movement in the country will also be analyzed.
