En este artículo se intentará abordar la problemática que implica la posición hegemónica del varón-heterocis -en tanto categoría social- como referente dentro del circuito musical del rock, desde los inicios de este movimiento cultural. ¿Podríamos hablar de un escenario invisible? ¿O más bien de un circuito que excluye identidades no hegemónicas en el ambiente musical? ¿Cómo se construyen los contornos que delimitan el espacio de aparición pública de las mujeres y personas de la comunidad LGTBIQ+? ¿Por qué a ciertas identidades les resulta más difícil consolidarse profesionalmente en los diferentes rubros del rock?
This article will attempt to address the problems involved in the hegemonic position of the heterocis-male -as a social category- as a reference within the rock music circuit, since the beginning of this cultural movement. Could we talk about an invisible stage? Or rather from a circuit that excludes non-hegemonic identities in the musical environment? How are the contours that delimit the space of public appearance of women and people of the LGTBIQ+ community constructed? Why do certain identities find it more difficult to establish themselves professionally in the different areas of rock?
