Socorrismo: experiencia feminista y acontecimiento político

El socorrismo es un activismo feminista que existe en Argentina desde 2012, cuando el aborto solo era legal por causales. En su práctica cotidiana acompañando abortos, las y les socorristas politizan aquello que se creía íntimo y personal. Sacar al aborto del clóset significa justamente eso, porque el sentido de acompañar es político. Las y les socorristas hacen política cuando se sientan en una plaza a hablar de aborto, cuando se reúnen en los talleres donde se brinda información, cuando acompañan a mujeres a abortar, porque ese acompañamiento es cuidado, seguro, amoroso y feminista. En los socorros se generan vínculos afectivos: conversan, se escuchan, comparten sentires y esa es una forma de resistencia para sobrevivir en este mundo patriarcal. Este es un activismo que también articula con colectivas latinoamericanas que conforman la Red Compañera, porque son parte de un movimiento que dialoga y que tiene –además- una gran capacidad de producción teórica. De esta manera, crean una cultura de lo colectivo, socializan el conocimiento y construyen una pedagogía feminista.
Socorrismo is a feminist activism that has existed in Argentina since 2012, when abortion was only legal for reasons. In their daily practice accompanying abortions, socorrismo politicize what was believed to be intimate and personal. Bringing abortion out of the closet means just that, because the meaning of accompanying is political. The socorrismo play politics when they sit in a square to talk about abortion, when they meet in workshops where information is provided, when they accompany women to have an abortion, because that accompaniment is caring, safe, loving and feminist. In the relief efforts, emotional bonds are generated: they talk, listen to each other, share feelings and that is a form of resistance to survive in this patriarchal world. This is an activism that also articulates with Latin American collectives that make up the Compañera Network, because they are part of a movement that dialogues and that also has a great capacity for theoretical production. In this way, they create a collective culture, socialize knowledge and build a feminist pedagogy.
