Guaraníes en José C. Paz: un acercamiento a las problemáticas de una comunidad originaria en el conurbano bonaerense

Tanto las ciudades como sus periferias, en las últimas décadas, han sido los escenarios de organización de comunidades y nucleamientos indígenas. “Kuarahy Öse Enteroitepeguara” se ubica en la zona noroeste del conurbano bonaerense argentino, precisamente en la ciudad de José C. Paz. La comunidad está integrada por unas cuarenta familias todas procedentes de diferentes lugares, quienes se fueron nucleando en función de un proceso de autoadscripción étnica a los fines de constituirse como comunidad ante organismos como el Instituto Nacional de Asuntos Indígenas (INAI), entre los años 2012 y 2013. El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo abordar el proceso migratorio y la instalación final en el barrio. A su vez, se indagarán las formas de organización, la relación entre “lo urbano” y “lo rural” y el contexto político e institucional en que se encuentra actualmente la comunidad.
In the last decades, cities and their peripheries have been the scenery of indigenous communities’ organization and settlements. “Kuarahy Öse Enteroitepeguara”, which is located in José C. Paz city in the north-west zone of the Argentine Buenos Aires sub-urban area, has been the target of our research. The community is formed by forty families which come from different places. They arrived at the neighborhood and started a Guaraní ethnic self-identification process in order to establish a community and present their project to organizations like the National Institute of Indigenous Affairs (INAI), between 2012 and 2013. The main objective of this research is to approach the migration process and their final settlement in the neighborhood. In turn, the organization, the relationship between the “urban” and the “rural”, and the political and institutional context in which the community is involved at present will be investigated.
