Avances de una investigación sobre discapacidad: hacia una ética del sujeto

Abordar una investigación sobre discapacidad, en la actualidad, supone una mirada diferente de las habituales, debido a los resultados de investigaciones anteriores. Estudios sobre las concepciones históricas, han revelado ciertos modelos o paradigmas de interpretación de la discapacidad, que aún coexisten. La investigación indaga los posibles efectos que las relaciones de poder y saber disciplinar tiene sobre los cuerpos e identidades de sujetos. Este disciplinamiento sobre los cuerpos diferentes, considerados “anormales”, inscribe marcas sociales que instituyen momentos de la vida y las significaciones atribuidas, definen a un sujeto. Nos acercamos a entender al cuerpo, y a las prácticas educativas, en términos políticos y culturales. Lo que los sujetos realizan con sus acciones, constituyen prácticas sistematizadas, racionalizadas, deja de ser una práctica biológica, orgánica, funcional, para adentrarnos en el análisis de materialización de normas contextuales, institucionales, que condicionan al sujeto y a su cuerpo. Los debates dentro del equipo de investigación como así también a partir de entrevistas a diferentes actores sociales e instituciones, nos permiten abrir hoy una serie de interrogantes respecto al riesgo de una epistemología de la discapacidad proponiendo volver a una ética del sujeto.
Deal with an investigation on disability, currently is a look different from the usual, due to the results of previous investigations. Studies on the historical conceptions, have revealed certain models or paradigms for the interpretation of the disability, which still coexist. The research explores the possible effects that the relations of knowledge and power to discipline has on the bodies and identities of subjects. This disciplining on the different bodies, considered “abnormal”, registered brands which establish social moments of life and the meanings attributed, define a subject. We come to understand the body, and to educational practices, in political and cultural terms. What the subject made with their actions, constitute practices systematized, streamlined ceases to be a biological practice, organizational, functional, to delve into the analysis of materialization of context rules, institutional, which condition the subject and to his body. The discussions within the research team as well as from interviews to different social actors and institutions, allow us to open today a series of questions about the risk of an epistemology of disability proposing return to an ethic of the subject.
