El presente estudio se centrará en el análisis de una trayectoria migratoria –la de Pierre Inda, francés de los Bajos Pirineos- y su inserción en la sociedad de acogida, Viedma en el Territorio Nacional de Río Negro (Argentina), entre 1872 y 1920. El objetivo es aportar a la mejor comprensión de la relación entre migraciones y conformación de sectores dirigentes en el ámbito rionegrino a fines del siglo XIX e inicios del XX. Hijo de agricultores propietarios en su país natal, Inda llegó a Viedma en 1872 y fundó una familia que ha participado activamente en la vida socioeconómica y política local y regional, en una sociedad de frontera, en proceso de cambio e institucionalización. Ligado al comercio, a la propiedad y explotación rural al mismo tiempo que se tejían redes familiares, sociales y políticas, integró lo que podemos considerar una verdadera “élite territoriana”, sin cortar sus vínculos con la comunidad francesa y vasca en Argentina y en su región de origen.
This study will focus on the analysis of a migratory path - that of Pierre Inda, French of Basses Pyrenees - and their insertion into the host society, Viedma, in the National Territory of Rio Negro (Argentina), between 1872 and 1920. The objective is to contribute to better understanding of the relationship between migration and formation of leaders sectors within the Río Negro society, in the end of the 19th century and early 20th. Son of farmer owners in his home country, Inda came to Viedma in 1872 and founded a family that had participated actively in local and regional socioeconomic and political life in a frontier society, in the process of change and institutionalization. Linked to trade, property and rural exploitation at the same time that wove family, political, and social networks integrated which can be considered a true "elite territoriana", without cutting their ties with the French and Basque community in Argentina and its region of origin.
