Descripción
The sound but synthetic representation of terms that designate concepts and their relationships for a given domain is paramount for the understanding and learning effort, especially in the early stages that a learner faces in that area. The process of understanding and learning over time is often iterative and incremental. This paper presents, for an ontological representation of the measurement and evaluation domain, the minimum but necessary set of concepts and relationships that can facilitate, in a first iteration, the understanding of non-functional requirements, measurement, and evaluation terms that are useful to implement evaluation strategies in projects. When analyzing terms and their meanings, we use examples based on our previous experience, primarily in academia but also in industry. In addition, a preliminary critical comparison of consistency with other synthesized terminological representations is made.
