Abstract: In the winter of 2017, a site survey was undertaken of Tell Asur, ancient Baal Hazor in the West Bank, for which this article is the full publication. Although it failed to discover a cultic site of Baal, its Byzantine finds form an important contribution to the archaeological portrait of the area in the Byzantine period
Resumen: Este artículo es la publicación completa de la prospección arqueológica llevada acabo en el sitio de Tell Asur, antigua Ball Hazor en Cisjordania, durante el invierno de 2017. A pesar de no haber descubierto un sitio de culto a Baal, los hallazgos bizantinos significan una importante contribución al cuadro arqueológico general del área durante este período.
