Crisis del sujeto y filosofía política contemporánea

Resumen: Este artículo analiza la concepción de subjetividad presente en la filosofía política contemporánea, ubicándola en el contexto general de la polémica existente sobre el tema en la metafísica y la antropología filosófica. Luego de hacer una primera referencia a la idea kantiana de subjetividad presente en John Rawls, el autor expone las posturas críticas que en este punto sostienen liberales como Nozick, Dworkin, Posner y Becker, comunitaristas como Sandel, MacIntyre y Taylor y el pensador alemán Jürgen Habermas. A continuación se analiza la discusión que sobre el tema de la subjetividad mantienen entre sí -ya ahora en un plano metafísico y antropológico- Habermas, Gadamer, Ricoeur y Levinas y el modo en que sus soluciones son a su vez cuestionadas por algunos filósofos posmodernos como Vattimo. Relacionando ambos debates, el artículo concluye que la discusión existente en la filosofía política contemporánea tiene parte de su raíz en la crisis del concepto metafísico de subjetividad cuya resolución radicaría, según el autor, en un rescate de una idea personalista del sujeto.
Abstract: This article analyzes the conception of subjectivity present in the contemporary political philosophy, locating it in the general context of the existing polemics on the subject in the metaphysics and the philosophical anthropology. After doing a first reference to the Kantian idea of subjectivity present in John Rawls, the author exposes the critical positions that on this point maintain liberals as Nozick, Dworkin, Posner and Becker, comunitarists like Sandel, MacIntyre and Taylor and the German thinker Jürgen Habermas. Subsequently it is analyzed the discussion that on the matter of subjectivity maintain among themselves -now in an anthropological and metaphysical area- Habermas, Gadamer, Ricoeur and Levinas and the way in which their solutions are at the same time questioned by some postmodern philosophers as Vattimo. Relating both debates, the article concludes that the existing discussion in contemporary political philosophy has part of its root in the crisis of the metaphysical concept of subjectivity whose resolution would situate, according to the author, in a rescue of a personalist idea of the subject.
