¿Mi futuro?. Representaciones sociales en jóvenes de Barrio Ceferino en el año 2021

La presente investigación se propuso conocer las Representaciones Sociales sobre su futuro que tienen los jóvenes de Barrio Ceferino, en la Ciudad de Salta en el año 2021. Para lograr el cometido, fue necesario explorar la percepción que los jóvenes tienen sobre el futuro contemplando los aspectos cognitivo, valorativo y figurativo. Identificando, además, las características del contexto barrial que influyen en la construcción de sus representaciones sociales. Se configuró con una metodología cualitativa, de nivel descriptivo y siguiendo el diseño de Teoría Fundamentada. Para la recolección de datos cualitativos, se tomaron 14 entrevistas semiestructuradas a jóvenes, una entrevista a un participante experto y otra entrevista a un caso sumamente importante para el problema analizado. Sumado a la observación cualitativa llevada a cabo por la investigadora. Algunos hallazgos significativos, exhiben que las representaciones sociales de los jóvenes se construyen a partir de los elementos: familia, barrio, estudio, trabajo, nivel de vida y consumo problemático de sustancias. De esta manera, se dejan entrever sus anhelos y temores planteados, evidenciando distintas polaridades como: cambiar por uno mismo o cambiar por el otro, irse o quedarse en el barrio, culminar los estudios o abandonarlos. Así como también, el anhelo de mejorar sus lazos familiares y su nivel de vida a partir de la consecución de un trabajo formal que brinde la estabilidad requerida. Todo esto, en algunos casos queda relegado por el deseo principal, planteado como un propósito, de abandonar el consumo problemático de sustancias. The purpose of this investigation is learning the social representations about the future of young people from Barrio Ceferino in Salta city in the year 2021. To achieve the goal, it was necessary to explore the perception the young people have about their future, taking in mind the cognitive, valorative and figurative aspects by identifying the characteristics of the context that influence in the building of its social representations. This investigation was configured with the qualitative methodology of descriptive level following the grounded theory design. To collect the qualitative data, fourteen young people were interviewed by semi-structured modality, another to an expert participant and a third one to a very important case regarding the problem, plus the qualitative observation made by the investigator. Some meaningful findings show that the social representations of the young people are built by elements such us family, neighborhood, studies, work, life status and problematics drugs consumption. Through this, their exposed desires and fears are seen showing different polarities like changing for oneself or changing for others, staying or leaving the neighborhood, finishing or giving up the studies. Their wishes to have better familiar relationships and better life status by getting a formal work would give them their desired stability. All this, in some cases, are leave apart by the main desire of giving up drugs consumption.
