"Deixa-me ver a sua mão, não tem mão de goleiro": estudo etnográfico sobre um aspirante à futebolista no Brasil

In the football universe, the trajectory of a player until reaching the professionalization involves several requirements that are not always clear. Among them are some bodily characteristics that can sometimes boost a player, sometimes can be a reason for refusal. Faced with this scenario, the objective of this article is to investigate, through the circulations between spaces where soccer players are trained, how the body components height and palm extension, from their symbolic values, are related to the constitutions in the formations of football player. For this, we carried out an ethnographic study in which we followed the trajectory of an a spiring goalkeeper and the different moments in which these bodily components were activated by those responsible for keeping him or not in the clubs. We conclude that some conceptions of football universes are more about productions of meaning from contexts than hegemonic cultures, as in the case investigated, in which the height and dimension of the hand needed to be under stood symbolic all associated with the constituted social spaces.
No universo futebolístico a trajetória de um jogador até chegar a profissionalização envolve diversos requisitos que nem sempre são nítidos. Dentre eles estão algumas características corporais que ora podem impulsionar um jogador, ora podem ser motivo de recusa. Frente a esse cenário, o objetivo deste artigo é investigar, através das circulações entre espaços de formação de jogadores de futebol, como os componentes corporais estatura/altura e extensão palmar, a partir de seus valores simbólicos, relacionam-se com as constituições nas formações de jogador de futebol. Para isso realizamos um estudo etnográfico em que seguimos a trajetória de um aspirante à goleiro e os diferentes momento em que esses componentes corporais foram acionados pelos responsáveis de manter ou não ele nos clubes. Concluímos que algumas concepções dos universos futebolísticos versam mais sobre produções de significado a partir de contextos que em culturas hegemônicas, como no caso investigado, em que a estatura e a dimensão da mão necessitavam ser compreendidas simbolicamente associadas aos espaços sociais constituídos.
