Los objetivos propuestos fueron: Generar información del estado actual del bosque de chañar, en lo referido a suelo, masa forestal, forraje y la dinámica entre ambos. Desarrollar prácticas de manejo silvícolas y de manejo forrajero. Incorporar al productor en el proceso de investigación a partir de sus recursos, capacidades, objetivos e intereses expresados.
