The composting of the solid fraction of digestates improves its quality, achieving stability and maturity parameters suitable for use as a biofertilizer. Pelletizing the compost facilitates its handling, transport, and application. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of three types of pellets made from composted pig digestate (PCPD) as organic fertilizers on the growth of Salvia greggii plants, compared to a controlled-release inorganic fertilizer.
