Fowl typhoid (FT) caused by Salmonella serotype Gallinarum (SG) is a disease distributed worldwide that persists in several regions. Vaccines are frequently used to reduce mortality, clinical signs and vertical or horizontal transmission. The aim of this work was to assess the protection against FT conferred by a live attenuated S.Enteritidis (SE) vaccine alone or in combination with an inactivated bacterin.
