Este texto pretende discutir la cuestión de la alteridad en cierta literatura contemporánea, a partir de algunos fragmentos de novelas (Coetzee, Ruiz Sosa, Roth), ensayos (Nietzsche, Agamben, Nancy) y aforismos y poemas (Lichtenberg, González), con el propósito de comprender en qué medida toda alteridad deja de ser un problema de identidad y se torna escenario de soledad e intimidad. Así, alteridad y literatura configuran una relación donde surge la noción de individuo en tanto ser anónimo que puede ser cualquier otro, como cualquier otro, en su generalidad y en su especificidad.
This text intends to discuss the issue of otherness in a certain contemporary culture, from a few fragments of novellas (Coetzee, Ruiz Sosa, Roth), assays (Nietzsche, Agamben, Nancy), aphorisms and poems (Lichtenberg, González), aiming at understanding to what extent every otherness stops being a problem of identity and becomes a scene of solitude and intimacy. Thus, otherness and literature constitute a relationship in which emerges the notion of individual as an anonymous living being who can be any other, as any other, in his/her generality and specificity.
