La ciencia política en jaque: Aportes críticos desde Strauss y Lefort

El interés del presente artículo se aboca a estudiar las críticas que dos filósofos, Leo Strauss y Claude Lefort, realizaron a la ciencia política con el objeto de dilucidar como ésta puede nutrirse de las reflexiones propulsadas por aquéllos. Tripartita será la estructura de este trabajo: en un primer lugar, se describirán los acontecimientos contemporáneos que han disparado la labor de esos filósofos y que han supuesto, según ellos, un desafío para la ciencia política; luego, se restituirá de manera somera las principales teorizaciones efectuadas por ambos; y, finalmente, se expondrán las impugnaciones que tanto Strauss como Lefort han elevado contra la ciencia política.
The interest of this article is to study the criticisms that two philosophers, Leo Strauss and Claude Lefort, made of political science in order to elucidate how the discipline can be nourished by their reflections. The structure of this paper will be tripartite: first of all, it will describe the contemporary events that have triggered the work of these philosophers and which, according to them, have posed a challenge to political science; then, it will briefly outline the main theorizations made by both of them; and finally, it will present the challenges that both Strauss and Lefort have raised against political science
